Rating: **** – 4 Stars
GENRE: Regency Romance
BOOK SUMMARY: With scandal descending on the Bennet family (again!), Elisabeth absolutely refuses to drag Mr. Darcy’s name into this shocking situation. But how on earth is she going to get her family out of trouble this time without his involvement? Hiding things from Mr. Darcy is getting more and more impossible, especially since he’s started letting his feelings show…
REVIEWER COMMENTS: If you cannot get enough of Pride and Prejudice (like me), than you will enjoy this book. The story starts right after Elisabeth gets the news about Lydia and Wickam. Reynolds then introduces different twists and turns to the original story that show a different side of several of the original characters, including Georgiana and Fizwilliam, and of Mr. Darcy, who is more outgoing and demonstrative of his feelings for Elisabeth. This book is enjoyable and entertaining, and I liked the plot and the characters.
SEXUAL CONTENT: Several kissing scenes
ADULT LANGUAGE: None
*Conclusion: I loved this rendition of P&P, however, be aware that Darcy and Elisabeth cannot keep their hands off each other just about every time they are alone. If you have a problem with this expression of passion between these beloved characters, then, you might not like this book.
