REVIEWER COMMENTS: What a wonderful take on Pride and Prejudice. Hahn does an amazing job staying true to the characters and the dialogues of the time period, and offers a new twist on how Darcy and Elisabeth come to be the happily ever after Mr. and Mrs. Darcy. There are a lot of misunderstandings between our favorite couple before they finally find themselves into each others’ arms, and I must admit, I found myself being annoyed at Elisabeth at times, since this tale is told by her point of view. However, the pace brings the reader to hunger for the climactic resolution that, I can assure you, does not disappoint. Passionate and sensual but never over the top, you do not want to miss this treasure!
SEXUAL CONTENT: A bedroom scene with passionate kissing between a married couple, kissing and sensual situations between a married couple.
ADULT LANGUAGE: None
*Conclusion: I read this book in one day! Yes, it was that addicting. I loved Hahn’s development of Darcy and Elisabeth’s romance. It was compelling, sensual, and in other words, hard to put down. What a treat!!
